Responsibilities:

As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be an integral part of our Scrum team, specializing in API development and integrations using MuleSoft. Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Design APIs following RESTful API design principles and API-led architecture.
  • Lead API development and integrations, collaborating with developers, architects, and product owners.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on engineering best practices.
  • Work closely with architects to design integration solutions and API-led architectures.
  • Build consistent reusable APIs implementing security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, and logging.
  • Establish a strong culture of security awareness and ownership within the API Dev Lifecycle.
  • Define and measure key performance indicators to monitor API consumptions.
  • Debug within a complex environment involving multiple connected systems.
  • Employ API led Microservices design principles and standard methodologies.
  • Ensure operational reporting and health monitoring of the application.
  • Ensure API-based architecture enables best-in-class user experience and response time.
  • Ensure reusability of all developed components.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 8 years in API development and integrations, using leading methodologies.
  • 6+ years of experience working with MuleSoft as a Developer.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
  • Experience in large projects with multiple stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Expertise in designing API specifications in RAML.
  • Proficient with continuous integration and source control tools.
  • Proven track record in implementing projects from requirements gathering to enhancements.
  • Experience with data interchange, ETL processes, and database interaction.
  • Familiarity with Connectors, Active MQ, and Secured Web Services.
  • Knowledge of API security, including OIDC and OAuth2.0.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline.
  • Familiarity with network components (firewall, load balancer, routing, VPC peering).
  • Experience building APIs for B2B, B2C product solutions.
  • Working experience with build tools like Maven and unit testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft suite of products and MuleSoft API implementation.
  • Expertise in Mule 4 components, connectors, and features.
  • Good hands-on experience using Mule connectors like Salesforce, File, Database, JMS, SMTP.
  • Proficient in using Mule 4 features like DataWeave, API designer, and various Connectors.
  • Expertise in using Filters, Flow Control, Collection Splitters, Aggregators, Scatter-Gather, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a focus on customer service and solution ownership.
