Java Full Stack Developer (Senior)

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, your primary responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions based on Java technology and related frameworks. You will play a crucial role in system integration, translating application requirements into web-based solutions, and ensuring seamless integration using various techniques such as Web Services, EJB, REST, and SOAP.

  • Design, develop, and implement complex solutions based on Java technology and related frameworks.
  • Assist in the seamless system integration of components.
  • Translate application requirements into web-based solutions using recommended frameworks and technology.
  • Integrate components using Web Services, EJB, REST, SOAP, and other relevant techniques.

Minimum Education:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience in designing and developing applications in Java.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience in web technologies including Node.js and Angular.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid experience in Java/J2EE, REST web services, JPA, and unit testing code coverage.
  • Extensive experience in frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Strong background in building front-end applications using JavaScript, Angular JS, JSON, and jQuery.
  • Experience in developing back-end application code interfacing with other systems, services, and APIs/RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge in developing shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with application servers such as JBOSS/Tomcat.
  • Experience in build and integration tools such as Maven and Jenkins, and source control tools like Git.
  • Expertise in writing business rules and business logic.
  • Knowledge of Spring Components and the Spring Framework.
  • Experience with Child Support programs, Integrated Eligibility, and/or Health & Human Services domain.
  • Experience working in cloud platforms and services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps, and containerized cloud environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with code reviews and continuous test-driven development.
